The dress held up well, though I did step on the hem at the end of the evening and pulled a thread. But the DJ was pumping and my brother and I were hustling so it was fine! A grand time was had by all and I was very happy with my dress!
I'm sleeping in tomorrow...and maybe, I'll sew on Sunday...maybe! *LOL*

The dress, as I knew it would be, is totally fabulous. You look so elegant and super-sophisticated. The colour and fabric are perfect. This is exactly what I love about the internet. I get to be inspired by the entire process of creation of a new garment such as this beautiful dress. But unlike the Project Runway process which ends with some model parading it, instead I get to see happy, loving people having a fabulous time while you wear that terrific garment.
