It's Here!

That's right - fabric and pattern have arrived safely at Casa de Sewing Fanatic!  And I'm thrilled...can't wait to get started on this project!

But I have even better news...seriously I do!  It's something special just for you dear readers...Christine has graciously offered anyone who purchases a pattern from her during my construction of this outfit a 20% off discount.  Yes, that's right!  Any pattern you order from Christine Jonson's site will be 20% off by using the coupon code "SewingFanatic" on the basket page or at the checkout/payment screen.

Now don't drag your feet because I'm chomping at the bit to make this dress and shrug...however, I will give you a little time to make your purchase because I'm not going to start working on this dress until next weekend (May 20-22).  I can't guarantee how long it will take me to finish so if there was a pattern you wanted from Christine's site, I would run right over and use the coupon, NOW!

...as always, more later!

  7. Yes, Blogger is acting weird today, and reissued your post. Which gives me the opportunity to say that Christine was one smart cookie when she got you to share that sweet deal, because I meant to be good, but have blown my pattern budget (and more) in her shopping cart. Thanks for helping send all those yummy patterns my way!

  8. Just tried to use the coupon code on Christine's site and got an "invalid" note. Hmmm. I'll try again later. Disappointing--immediate pattern gratification is thwarted!

  16. I'm thrilled to have found your blog. I'm a wanna-be sewer. I have 2 sewing machines, patterns, material and a ton of creativity. So now I just need to put it all together and make a dark gray jacket/bolero/open cardingan. Thanks for the inspiration!

  18. Carolyn, I am a long-time lurker for your blog, and I just love it! Wanted to let you know how much I have missed hearing from you for the past few days. Don't let the ugly and hurtful comments of one person stop you from anything!
I love you and all your work!

  20. HI Carolyn ~ A couple of things: CJ is very business-savvy to have you make one of her patterns (and in her yummy fabric too!); I love both the fabs and the patterns; I am trying to whittle down which of her patterns to order.

I can't tell you how much it means to me that you stopped by my blog! You're such a "rock star" in the sewing world and I have gotten loads of info and inspiration from your site. Thanks! ~ Peggy
