Sewing Best Practices by Phyllis of CoudreMODE

I know you're waiting for pics of the last two dresses but I won't be meeting my photographer until tomorrow so pics will be up later.  I just wanted to share a series that Phyllis, who authors the blog, CoudreMODE is writing on Sewing Best Practices.

One of the best compliments I've ever received from my sewing sheros (The Sewing Divas - Ann, Gigi, Phyllis, Els & MaryBeth) was from Phyllis about my use of proportion.  She kindly contacted me to ask if she could use several of my photos in her latest post on Sewing Best Practices.  I highly urge you to read Phyllis' series.  Phyllis is an advanced sewist with superior skills and I always learn something new from her postings.

...as always more later!

  7. You are the perfect person to illustrate this point!! A very wise decision on her part! I'm always impressed with the fit of your makes and how you WORK your TNT patterns. I've learned to stick with the ones that I know will work from you!

  8. Im finally catching up on some blog reading. And what a fabulous article Phyllis has written. I partcularly like the point she makes in the comments about dressing in a style you like versus dressing in a style that is flattering to your body type - i think that is something I am continually trying to figure out.
