Happy National Sewing Month!

Happy National Sewing Month!

I know I'm a day late but I wanted to participate in the #sewphotohop that's currently happening on Instagram.

I guess I'm starting an annual tradition of celebrating the art of sewing during National Sewing Month! Last year's celebration was pretty involved for me. There were a bunch of giveaways, some fabric discounts, special guest bloggers and interviews with some of my favorite sewists.

While I'm celebrating this year, because who wouldn't celebrate an artform that we love so much, I've scaled it back a bit. This year every week will give you a discount at an online fabric store and the ability to win either a pattern or sewing tool.

That's what I have in store for the blog.  I hope you'll check back in tomorrow to see the first online store fabric discount being offered.

...as always more later!

  1. Carolyn, You were the first blogger I really started to follow and from your list I now follow others. I appreciate all that you do to keep blogging. So whether or not you give away anything more than your usual advice, ideas, love, and laughter I will keep reading. Jean

  3. I'm celebrating National Sewing Month by busting my bank card: Mcalls/Vogue/Butterick OOP pattern sale this weekend! Bank card busting will be happening shopping for fabric on line, too!

Thank you for your blog. Like so many others, yours was the first blog I started reading after I lost my job (retirement followed unemployment) and re-entered the sewing world. Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge!
