As a SAHM, my wardrobe is extrememly casual. I love 3/4 sleeves for Nov to Mar. The rest of the year, it's short sleeves. For days when it starts at 40 degrees and ends in the 80s, well, I just turn to the denim jacket. All that to say, I really don't need a transitional wardrobe.Salindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05301376255734606044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20705637.post-5745305714348113352008-04-02T21:36:00.000-04:002008-04-02T21:36:00.000-04:00Great transitional sewing list. I'm in the middle of making a matching safari jacket and skirt out of stretch twill from Gorgeoud Fabrics, a couple of coordinating tops and a coordinating print dress(I have not found fabric for that yet).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20705637.post-10937145032125953142008-04-01T07:51:00.000-04:002008-04-01T07:51:00.000-04:00Carolyn, you are so gorgeous in your new outfit!Carolyn, you are so gorgeous in your new outfit!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07697092701783217069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20705637.post-575512580852889442008-04-01T07:14:00.000-04:002008-04-01T07:14:00.000-04:00Very cute pantsuit and great job on the sewing. Each year, I have plans to make a spring coat and then it gets hot too fast and I shelve the project. We'll have just a few weeks of beautiful weather here that I would consider good summer weather - 70's-80, then all of a sudden it's so hot that you just go from air conditioning to air conditioning, and that lasts til October. <BR/>This year I've got a jump on hot summer because of my Carib wardrobe.Marjihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08695305834402487163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20705637.post-47927873013900371442008-04-01T06:29:00.000-04:002008-04-01T06:29:00.000-04:00The transition usually is from summer to autumn/wi...The transition usually is from summer to autumn/winter here in FL. No true winter so autumn clothes take me into spring. And then it's full-out summer, which is where I am just about now. I'd really like more jackets in my wardrobe for autumn/winter but I usually only manage about 1 per year and then it's summer again.Debbie Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03601675304884019607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20705637.post-22440467860949912042008-04-01T05:11:00.000-04:002008-04-01T05:11:00.000-04:00WE are going into winter, but it doesn't get that ...WE are going into winter, but it doesn't get that cold here in Melbourne. Yes some days have a cold antartic blast...brrr...but then the next day could be quite mild. So I wear my work gear all year round. I would like some casual jackets ( for weekends etc) to wear in the mornings when it is a bit chilly this time of year. Well I am in Hong Kong and every year the hot humid summer seems to catch me out. I find it hard to make summer clothes when I am cold and vice versa so versatile easy separates that can work most of the year round are what I like to sew the most.
