New Members of the Family

I love Elliott Berman!  I've only visited them a few times but everytime I leave, I leave with the most amazing treasures.  So Meg and I met there for lunch earlier this week and of course a few beauties followed me home.

But before I share them with you, I want to remind you of a few unique garments made with fabrics from Elliott Berman...

The Versace Inspired Dress...

Several cardigans from Burda 8869...

and these new members of my fabric family...

(left to right:  a tie-dyed border print blue linen, a brown/blk/gray
ltwt. cotton sateen, a blk/white circle knit w/a stripe border)

Fabrics from EB don't linger long in my collection...probably because they are so distinctive and so wonderful to work with...in fact I only had 2 pieces left before these new pieces were added. I can guarantee that these won't last long either especially since I already have patterns with 2 of the 3 fabrics.

If you need more information on Elliott Berman, check out Meg's blog, "Shop the Garment District"  where her post today highlights all of the goodies that can be found there!

Adrienne this is for you and as always, more later!

  1. I LOVE Elliot Berman too. I've recently been thinking that I need to take a random day off of work (since it's closed on the weekends) so that I can visit EB again. I've only been once - at the PR day - and could have spent the entire day there. I bought some stunning fabrics.

You picked up some great ones for summer.

  5. And I was truly trying to stay on a fabric diet this year. Looks like I'll have to slip in a fabric dessert some time in 2011.

  11. Hey C, thanks for the STGD plug! I'm thinking that piece you call tie-dye might actually be more like an ikat—?

  15. Fantastic choices! I love all of them. Must stay away from New York.

Do you mind sharing the prices? When I visited EB I found it a little too expensive for my taste.
