Vote!

Gotcha! Y'all thought I was talking about the political circus that's happening in the US right now didntcha?!  Nope not going there...not yet anyway! *LOL*

Nope, I'm referring to the fact that I want you to vote in Madalynne's Best of Sewing Blogs for 2016!  Here's the link to here blog post and Madalynne has made it easier to vote this year.  All you have to do is go to this online site!

I did it...you should too! So, go vote!

...as always more later!

  1. So frustrating. Categories messed up, and Japanese Pattern and Mainely Dad are the same guy and blog.

Hey, I didn't put a ballot process together, so I have no room for comment. And if I didn't vote for someone, it's because I had to choose between two pals in one section, vs no one in the next.

    Just like a real election!

  2. I had no idea there were so many blogs! I voted, yes - but I read 3 other blogs and saw none of those. I have two walls full of books about sewing and textile arts & crafts. Perhaps those book shelves are redundant?? Good Luck to you, Carolyn.

  4. Completely off topic, but I wasn't sure of how else to send this to you. The New York Times is posting a new photo every day for Black History Month. I'm sure you've already seen it, but just in case: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/projects/cp/national/unpublished-black-history/dr-martin-luther-king-jr-portrait-1963

    1. I saw it but on Instagram I'm doing one post/pic a day on sewing/fashion related black history month that I think is more relatable than what the Times did. I'm kinda tired of everyone pulling out the black people that everyone knows. Check out my Instagram account, link in the sideboard.
