Can you stand anymore JCC?

I came home from work dog tired...I mean I went to bed at almost 1 am and was back up at 5:45 am to go to my day job...well I really just crawled out of bed, showered and threw on something and left. Thank goodness it is a casual week in my workplace!

It took me awhile when I got home to get it together to take pictures...but they are done and sent off to Elizabeth - the host of the JCC.

However, I wanted to share with you my favorite pic of the dress...

I love this dress! It met and exceeded all of my expectations from when I was "dreaming" it up! I love the movement of the pleats...I love the brown accents...but I especially love how feminine the dress makes me feel!

I promise I'm moving on and talking about techniques and patterns and other sewing stuff in my next couple of posts...I'm just so thrilled to be finished with these JCC pieces!

Any dress that gives you a smile that big has to be a winner. I loved this fabric when you first showed it, and it turned into a fabulous dress. I love happy clothes.

Oh, Carolyn, that dress is wonderful! You look stunning, the colours and style of the dress are perfect for each other and the shoes just top it all off. Can't wait to see it with the jacket. I love the way you're wearing your hair, too. It looks a little different somehow ...

I am so glad you finished the JCC on time, all your garments look terrific, but I just love this dress. I had to laugh when I read you saying you had sewing ADD. I spent most of June sewing baby clothes that need to be ready in mid July, so no urgency, why, I do not know! It made me sew until 11pm on June 30 on my own things.
