First Giveaway for National Sewing Month

Before I announce the first giveaway and discount for this month - I need to take a moment and thank all of the pattern vendors who have provided patterns for the giveaways this month.  Everyone I asked got right back to me and was more than willing to participate in this month's celebration of "National Sewing Month!" 

I know that I've told them ALL how grateful I am but I want everyone reading to know just how appreciative I am that they wanted to participate.  So for the first half of September it's all about pattern giveaways and discounts. These patterns will be available to both international and domestic sewists! Yeah!!!

The first giveaway is two MimiG patterns from the Simplicity Pattern Company. Now any sewist on the internet today knows that jeans are the thing! It seems like everyone is sewing a pair of jeans. To join in on that fun, Simplicity gave us two copies of 8222 in a size 6-14 and a 14-22. 

However, since I have actual patterns and need to mail them, this giveaway is open to US and Canadian sewists only. Please leave a comment below by Wednesday, September 14th at 11:59pm EST stating which size you'd like. Winners will be announced during the day on Saturday, September 17th. 

Now international sewists don't be sad because Simplicity is so awesome, they are giving EVERYONE a 20% discount off the entire website for the month of September starting on September 4th.  If there is anything you've been desiring on the Simplicity website, or a pattern that's not available locally that you must have, now's the time to get it!  Just use the code FANATIC16 when you check out and 20% will be applied to your entire order! Yeah!!!! Remember you can use the code ALL month!

I'm sorry everyone - this is my fault that the discount doesn't start until the 4th. When I originally set this up I was running this post on Sunday. However, I've received such wonderful participation from everyone that I had to move some things around to accommodate all of the giveaways! Please forgive me because this is not Simplicity's fault. What a great way to start the month off right?!
