Cashmerette Patterns Giveaway for National Sewing Month

I don't even have to say this...y'all know that I absolutely ADORE Cashmerette Patterns. ABSOLUTELY.ADORE! So of course, I asked my girl Jenny if I could have a pdf pattern to give away for National Sewing Month...and being the awesome person that she is...she offered THREE!

Seriously, three...one person will win three pdf patterns from Cashmerette!!!

I honestly believe that this pattern line has given plus-size, curvy, large-busted women the ability to wear a button down shirt or a t-shirt...and several amazing dresses without having to make FBAs, add space or worry about how to fit our bodacious biceps into a sleeve.

The pattern line is sized for women who wear 12-28 with cup sizes C-H.  There are presently 11 different patterns online at Cashmerette.com. If you haven't used a pattern and why haven't you? There are 160 reviews of the patterns on PatternReview to show you some finished garments.

...and I've made a few myself...

I've made the Concord Tee - shown above, several Turner Dresses and a Lenox ShirtdressOkay I'm embarassing myself by the fangirling! *LOL*

If you're interested in winning THREE pdf Cashmerette patterns of your choice, please leave a comment below ONLY. The giveaway will begin today and end next Monday, September 18th at midnight EST. All comments must have a name attached to them. If you log in as "Unknown" but don't leave a name with your comment, it will be deleted. Also comments must be left on this post to be considered, any left at bloglovin' are ineligible.  Good luck!

Happy National Sewing Month!

  10. I've always wanted to try one of Jenny's patterns, but as the bottom end of her sizing scale, I'm a little cautious, as it's a lot of cost, relatively in my currency, for a pattern. I enjoy reading your blog, and not being a blogger, any insight into a pattern before I try it.

  11. I love the cashmerette bog but I never sewed one of her patterns. Maybe now.

  26. I have also heard many great things about these patterns. I most recently made the Appleton dress and love it. I would like to make more but the Appleton is the only one i purchased. Only thing is i made it a size to small. I did it according to my measurements, but I don't think the material stretched enough, it doesn't help that i have put on a little weight as well. I have a 2 year old so one project take about 6 weeks to make. I made the dress, but never got a chance to wear it:(

    ReplyDelete
  27. Love your blog! Would love to win these patterns! I'm embarrassed to say I've never tried a Cashmerette so this would be a wonderful opportunity to give them a try. Especially the Concord Tee:). No FBA??!!

  32. I have discovered that there are other patterns available other than "the big three". I fell in love with Casermerette shirt dress and all the different ways others have hacked the patteren to customize it jusz right. I have book marked the site to order the pattern, but had to complete one other project before I order it. It would be great to win several of these patterns. I know exactly what fabric out of my stash to use. :-)

  33. I have not tried a Cashmerette pattern yet and would really like too.Yesterday, I spent way too much time working out an FBA on a Burda pattern that was taking the fun out of sewing! I have totally given up on button-down shirts but maybe I can actually wear one that fits with the cashmerette pattern. Hoping!

  79. I am the non-sewist who commented on your blog several months ago. You responded that you had not had a comment from someone who did not sew. I have continued to follow your blog and your beautiful, wearable and expertly made clothing. I have obviously never made a garment for myself, but Cashmerette patterns come in my size, and appear to be ones I could handle. If I win the patterns, I've decided to take the plunge and see if I can actually join the sewing community by sewing. Thank you for the opportunity.
