I promised outtakes from the photo shoot so here they are:
I call this one the big legged shot
so of course it didn't make it into "The Final 10!"
And I just couldn't stop giggling...
Again with the giggling...
I am soooo not a model
Me and my stylist
Finally this is one of my favorite Analysts at work. I helped hire her as a Summer Intern and she is just an amazing young woman so of course I had to take a picture with her during the photo shoot:
Yes, most of my pictures were taken at my job and I want to thank my co-workers who were so encouraging, my friend Maritza and my boss John who took the pictures! All of your help was sooooo appreciated!
Now don't forget to VOTE and as always...more later!
You saw someone giggling; I see someone who is having a great time (and looking fantastic) in her new clothes!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures here, and a great entry to the Swap contest. I especially adore the combinations with the orange. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have such a wonderful workplace and co-workers.
ReplyDeleteThe pieces look great, even in the outtakes!
I LOVE the outtake photos, you look like you had fun! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the orange print jacket! That is such a standout piece but just look at how well it works with other pieces!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you have co-workers who are willing to help you out with the photo shoot!
ReplyDeleteLove the orange jacket - I wish I could wear that color! Now off to check out the rest of the collection.
I'm voting early and often -- for Carolyn!!!
ReplyDeleteI had a ball taking the pictures....but the pieces you designed are just as wonderful as you are ...=) Good luck!
ReplyDeleteJohn
Loved the outtakes. Looked likes you had a lot of fun taking the photos. Loved your SWAP and I hope you win!!! All of your pieces look great.
ReplyDeleteWow-- I've looked at that orange chrysanthemum silk a bunch of times on Fabric Mart, always thought it beautiful but for the life of me couldn't figure out what it would work for- the blouse you made from it is gorgeous! Great work :)
ReplyDeleteYour out-takes are fantastic, you look like you are having a ball! Good luck in the contest.
ReplyDeletethose are some fun photos. Love the laughing shots. g
ReplyDeleteIf the outtakes are this cute, than the real photos must be amazing!
ReplyDeleteFirst, I LOVE the big legged shot (at first read, I thought that it was the big legend shot, but I digress) and I think that this photo should be a keeper. It's a look of relaxed authority. What's not to like?
ReplyDeleteYour boss even took the pictures! How cool is that! It looks like you had a great time doing your photo shoot. Wonderful wardrobe, as always.
ReplyDeleteThese are great "outakes". Nice photography job by your boss!!
ReplyDeleteOmGoodness your outake pics are awesome... umm why are my eyes tearing up.... You look fabulous Carolyn.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photoshoot--If these are the outtakes, I can't wait to see the full layout! :)

Those are cute pictures! It looks liked like a fun photoshoot!
ReplyDeleteWell, I listed your SWAP as my first choice. Very difficult to decide this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat "A Sewn Wardrobe" said. The fact that the pieces looked so good is a plus. We all know how a garment from a flawed pattern can be made to look good as long as the model stands still.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing! That is one major project you did... and you worked full time too! You are a "Wonder Women"! Sure looks like you had a lot of fun doing the photo shoot... hopefully all in all while you were sewing it was fun too! You win in my book! Here is hoping that you do win!
ReplyDeleteThe photos may have been the outtakes but your garments look wonderful and what is so nice about these pictures is that your personality shines through. You were clearly having a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteWow, some nice outtake photos and clothes. You look wonderful in all. Looking forward to seeing the other pics.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the full set of photos - the outfits look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI get the giggles when I have my photo taken too - even when I'm taking my own photos with a self timer :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful that you're workplace would even let you do that - such fun photos and of course a fab wardrobe
Looks like you had fun! What great workmates to help you out like that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun photoshoot it must have been! I love that your colleagues participated.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are great Carolyn. Good luck.I do hope you win!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your photo outakes. It looks like you had so much fun doing this. And it's so nice you have such a supportive boss & co-workers!
ReplyDeleteLove the behind-the-scene shots and the orange blossom jacket remains my favorite!
ReplyDelete[Though I have to commend you for matching your jewelry to the orange leather furniture in the official SWAP pics....]
Great photos! And nice to see you at work :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, and you look AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteLove the giggling photos! You look so amazing in them...happiness is the best accessory!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous SWAP!
