#FBF - Fall Back Friday

This was originally supposed to be a #TBT - Throwback Thursday post but I really wanted to share Miss Sammy's dresses so that moved this post back. And I know y'all wanted to see those dresses way more than you wanted to see me wearing a restyled throwback skirt, right?!

I think its slimmer looking when I wore it in July 2014, because the extra weight I was carrying filled it out better.

I will wear it while I'm sewing new pieces because so much of my wardrobe is unwearable! UGGG! I'm definitely going back to sewing little girl's clothes. There's no pressure or fit challenges in little girl land! *LOL*

On more shot...

...as always more later!

    1. Edube - Spring is my favorite season because I love the rebirth of everything! Now to the end of the year is when I'm happiest, so there will be loads of new garments shot outside now!

  2. I like it just fine. It is a great skirt and the shorter cardigan is a better pairing now that the skirt is slimmer. However, it all boils down to how you feel.

  3. Haha! I love it! :) Little girl land with no fitting. YASSSS!

I agree that it looks better fitted but it's definitely still cute and still wearable and you're still dropping those pounds!

  6. Actually you look rather nice in it today - so own it, love it and embrace it. The little girl dresses were inspiring as I have been putting off making dresses for my BFFs daughter - but now..........no more procrastination - thanks to you.

    1. Cynthia making those dresses was so much fun! I'm still working on Lena's stuff but this kind of sewing is so much fun!

  7. Carolyn, you look just wonderful! I was away from my blogs for a while and so I don't know what program you are using, but it's definitely working! I lost 120 lbs in 2001 after gastric bypass surgery (and have kept it off!) and comments were made about that being the easy way out,, but I'll tell ya what--there is no easy way to get that much weight off. So I am offering you my sincere congrats and best wishes for continued loss!

    1. Gail - I changed the way I eat. No more processed foods, very little sweets, no junk food. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, much smaller portions - more clean eating. Thanks for asking.

  8. LOL! I notice everything is getting too long on you as well. I've been having the same problem. I'm making quick knits to wear until I get the rest of my excess weight off. I really hope the weight loss is your choice, Carolyn and that you are OK.

    1. Sherril - yes I'm fine...probably healthier than I've been in years because of the weight loss. And yes, I've noticed that everything hangs a little longer too!
