and I even have a Friday shot because yesterday was "Wear Red for Women's Heart Health Day" and I wore a reddish twinset with my jeans. Yes, I've been in jeans on Fridays for the last few weeks because now that we are on another floor and don't see as many visitors, my area has taken to wearing jeans on Fridays. So here is Friday's outfit:
Like I stated earlier, this will not become a regular feature on my blog, however, it will probably show up from time to time. I'm definitely taking pics of the Lavender and Gray Skies wardrobe this weekend, so look for them soon!
...as always, more later!
I like the "in real life" photos Carolyn! It gives us a little peep into your world and how you work your self made and ready made clothing into your wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteYou look so beautiful in your garments. You have such a flair for style. Just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHow great your boss is willing to take photos of you in your wonderful outfits - they all look brilliant
ReplyDeleteWow! Your boss took your pictures!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful in "real life" .
OK, the double knit suit is FAB - I don't remember that one at all.
ReplyDeleteI hope you reconsider the in real life pics...if not... a smattering of IRL will do.. *chuckling*.
ReplyDeleteWhat I will say... I am drooling over the black doubleknit suit... totally *heart* it. Great week of outfits.
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing these!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, great otufits! My office has jeans Fridays too, and I have to be honest and say I don't really like it. I don't feel like I'm at work on a weekday when I'm in jeans, plus I look better in a skirt/dress. lol So yesterday, I was a rebel and wore my brown knit Magic Pencil with a new RTW top, brown tights, and brown flats. I was casual-ish, but still felt dressed for work. I noticed I wasn't the only one not wearing jeans either. There must've been something in the air yesterday. I'm curious to see how the jeans carry on once it's 400 hundred degrees outside, because capris are NOT allowed. I'm betting there will be more dresses on Fridays then. If I'm still there, that is. lol
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. Nice to see you in "the real world, work setting". all of your outfits are beautiful of course.
ReplyDeleteI loved your fashion show in your real life setting!
ReplyDeleteWow Carolyn - you look so stylish and classy in all the shots, including the "casual Friday" one. Your dress sense and individual flair are amazing.
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful - every single day!
ReplyDeletewhat a treat, Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteYou look so nice every day. How nice of John to take photos, too!
It is great to see how you accessorize and combine things with such consistency.
Well done!
If I worked there I would be at your desk every day to see "what is she wearing today?"
Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI love your real life photos.[such a nice boss to snap photos for you]. I love all the dresses. And I love how you added the cardigans..
Your wardrobe is just beautiful and you have done a wonderful job.. I so admire all the pretty things you make. Happy sewing.
I love this series. I am at home with kids at the moment, but when I worked, and I am sure I will again, I was terrible about knowing what to wear. It was very male dominated, so there were not many examples. I think you have great taste and always look professional. Very inspiring, indeed!
ReplyDeleteOf course, you have to be focussed on the job, but I hope your boss will do this again from time to time:-)
wonderful! I hope you can convince willing coworkers in the future, because I really enjoyed this!
ReplyDeleteYou looked great this week--good for you!. I really like that color of red on you.
ReplyDeleteNice work outfits, very stylish. My favorite is the Monday look.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking work outfits, Carolyn.
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous in all your garments!

ReplyDeleteCarolyn, your work wardrobe is wonderful! Each piece is representative of your personal style, and also coordinated and classy.
